So we started out 11-2 ended up at 19 all after ten minutes then what happened?

Is the bench just checked out? Can't win too many games with most of the bench shooting 5-30.

Any obvious reason why dedmon only played 14 minutes and Ilyasova played 28?

HOW DARE YOU SAY SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT MARIO!!!!!!!!!!! (sarcasm)

Devin Booker on the other hand..........

Eh, Hezonja showed plenty as a starter.

Skiles wouldn't play Booker at all (defense)

They played alot of the game with stretch 5's and smaller athletic lineups with plumlee. Skiles was trying to get as many guys out there as he could who could jump out on those shooters.

Just one of those games where we were gonna get killed. We came out hitting some shots but the Blazers were hot too. Think they hit 6 three's in the first quarter. Fournier scored 13 in the first, than 2 points the rest of the game. I honestly thought Dipo was the only player on the team out there showing he cared to win. We were down 30 and he was still diving for loose balls.

We had a great start that had me excited for a little bit. Great defense and Oladipo and Fournier were trying to run the offense, hitting some shots.

Lillard was being guarded closely, with double teams, but then that lead to open shooters. Aminu and Gerald Henderson had freak 3pt shooting nights for who they are

--

The bench came in and the offense turned into "give it to Jason Smith and watch him launch long 2s" He missed like four straight.

The Blazers started building a lead with their great offense, with off the ball screens and what not. Everyone played a part and most their players can hit 3s.

--

Ilyasova played some center and sucked big time. Dedmon didn't get enough playing time because by halftime the game was out of reach. He did his job well in the 1st quarter

Hezonja hit some nice shots when the game was still at reach. Gordon basically didn't get any shots in the first quarter

--

It was a blowout but we learned some stuff. The Blazers have a great, fluid, 3 pt shooting offense and it would be cool to replicate that.

Hezonja's rank versus the other notable rookies:

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/position/rookies

25th of 29 in PER. Most other statistics don't look very good either. I would not argue that Hezonja has show much, period. How many games has he started?

He still a rookie on a really bad team and with coach that is pushing for more defense than offense. He has not adjusted well. Im sure next year will be different. Once thing that he is good at the moment is that he commits. He is a hard worker and will work on what is needed in the offseason. The Europe league is very different as the american league. They play more of an uptempo basketball with little or no defense. Here, is more of a tecnical And defense oriented basketball. Most of european basketball players have trouble adjusting immediately to the NBA. Even Muday. He was a stud over there and it is now that he is showing what he is capable to do and he has started every game for the nuggets.

Give him at least one offseason.

4 games as a starter he's averaged 12/3/2 on 49/39/100 shooting and was +10.1 per game. His season is very similar to every young euro rookie wing in nba history with barbosa and Rudy Fernandez being the only exceptions available.

We also play significantly better as a team when he's on the court which doesn't really make much sense watching him as he's definitely looked like a rookie more often but, numbers.
