The Official 2015-2016 Regular Season Thread

Three full pages dedicated to the Milwaukee Bucks...why?

Because we just played them and there is not that much else to discuss right now?

In addition to their defensive woes, the East is much tougher this year. Captain Obvious would say that plays a role in their record, despite being one of the better offensive teams in the east this season so far.

MIL, DET, ATL, and BOS all won tonight. Poop.

The Detroit and Boston wins hurt the most because they should lose those games if the Rockets and Heat were actually competent. I was very skeptical of those two teams before the season started and they're proving me right

Im not really worried about other teams in the east playoff race this far away from the end of the season. It's all on us to win our own games.

Agreed!

If we handle our own business we do not need to worry about other teams.

Question

Why is oladipo considered a volume shooter when he's only averaging 13 fga per game for his career.

I mean it creeped up to 16 or 17 some months last year but its not like he's putting up 20 per game.

Well because only around 5 players in the NBA average 20 a game. 17 shots a game is very high (top 15) and 13 is top 50, which puts him as a first option on some teams and a top 2 option on about any team.

Additionally he had to shoot a lot more 3s then he ever did in college. Which is how the NBA is now. But in order to really keep a defense honest your SG should be hitting 35% of those.
