At least we tried to go for it in free agency for the first time in a while.

I'm not surprised he's going to re-sign with Atlanta. They've offered him $19 million a year, and he can opt out after two and hit free agency when the cap is expected to spike. So he gets to pretty much earn a year what he would here, but be on a more competitive team with a better chance of competing for a title.

 

We will probably try and re-sign Harris now, but we should still be trying to find some veteran help.
