Official 2014-2015 Shake-and-Bake Trade Thread

Looks like Lopez to OKC, Lance to Brooklyn and Jeremy Lamb to Charlotte. Good deal for all teams somehow in my opinion.

If it happens.

Jarret Jack to Charlotte also

If it happens OKC would be laughing.

Why would they? Brook Lopez sucks

They feel the championship window closing and are going all in.

There are a couple of other important things to take away from this potential deal. The Thunder are clearly feeling pressured to make something happen and go all in to win now before Kevin Durant hits free agency next summer. They’ve been far too passive over the last couple of seasons since advancing to the Finals, banking far too heavily on the internal development of young players to keep pace in an ever-improving Western Conference, a strategy that was not working out. It’s going to be interesting to see if Reggie Jackson is moved next, as the Thunder are in grave danger of losing him for nothing this offseason and could get a very valuable asset or assets in return for him prior to the trade deadline.

Tobias Harris for Greg Monroe. Monroe has the right to veto any trade. An article on the why's is pasted below.

No. We don't want monroe for the exact same reasons Detroit doesn't want Monroe. He clogs the lane for other centers, he wants a max contract, and he isn't good defensively.

If Henny trades Harris, I expect a trade for another young and random asset on a rookie deal… not someone who is breaking the bank or will break the bank. This seems to be Henny's style, to pick up random young players that fit the Magic DNA and to grow them up.

For instance, I could see him doing something crazy like: http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=nz9zxao. Forgetting for a minute where Cappela was drafted, he was ranked as the #2 prospect by Pelton in the draft (http://insider.espn....ection-rankings). This type of deal would preserve our cap space and open up the SF spot for AG.
