Glen Davis suffered the same fracture in Jan. 2013. He required two surgeries and was out for 10 months.

Yeah I just saw it on Bleacher Report. We were playing pretty good basketball too. He's only 19 so let's hope for a speedy recovery for AG. Can't wait to see our roster play together at full strength.

Heard the news. Does anyone remember seeing this happen? It's obviously encouraging that many make full recoveries, but you never ever want to see a really athletic freak starting his career with stress fractures.

 

On a good note though, I think that he will also become a student of the game by continuously watching. He's not a guy who will let the time go to waste, but will rather attempt to raise his bball IQ. Additionally, this means that Moe Harkless is dancing inwardly somewhere because he gets his playing time back. Let's see if he can prove he's worth keeping around!
