Also, the Greg Monroe stuff could be worth following. He is meeting with Miami, but could come back this way as well.

He is going to come with a price tag though, and is more of a true C. I think Patterson is a better fit.

LOL at Miami trying to sign him.

Miami: We'll give you our entire cap space of $12mil.

Detroit: Match.

And that's only if Greg doesn't laugh at them first.

I think the offer will be 3 years at 25-26mm with the 3rd year a team option. That should get him here.

The Magic have 1 8mm contract to offer. without hurting themselves for the future It's not going to Parsons or Hayward obviously, and I doubt they'd offer that $$$ to Davis.

Also - this explains the Gordon move even more.

That's too much money for that dude

You can say that about everyone in the FA market though. Im hoping it's less though as well.

Reality is the Magic could spend 8 a year on him if they truly see that starting potential.

The main thing to remember is that these leaks are almost always from agents building value.

Well I see Nicholson being packaged in a future deal; an ineluctable fate. People don't even remember him in their projected lineups to start the season.

Rumor is 7.5mm over 4 years. For a starting PF.

I'd be real happy with 5-6 but I don't know if that is possible.

What's Toronto cap looking like? That could probably dictate how much of a deal we could get for Patterson, then do the old "you want Gustavo ayon"

014-15 Salary Cap (estimated): $63,200,000

Toronto Cap Hit: $79,703,221 ($16,503,221 over salary cap)

Free Agent Cap Holds: $27,204,516

Unsigned Draft Pick Cap Holds: $2,684,200
