Yes, or for that superstar to take so long deciding that they can't match on Parsons in the meantime. They have like 7-10 days to match right? I don't think we low ball, I'd be fine with 4y/$36M-$42M...that range seems like about what he's worth.

It could be because this is a basketball forum where people post their opinions of things like that, but maybe I'm wrong.

I wouldn't throw money at Parson's. He's good but I think you need to keep the cap space until a bigger talent comes along. Since we're so young and inexperience I think development (again) should be the main priority this season.

Did you miss that we are $20M-$28M under the cap, depending on what we do with Jameer, or that Parsons was a RFA on a team that is focused on signing a major FA and is from Orlando and owns a home in Orlando?

Got to say I'm not really too bothered about Parsons. Don't want to pay him 10+ million. But, if we get him that's cool, if we don't, I don't care.

Parsons would make things pretty congested at the 3 spot, don't you think? Hark and Harris are there now, and with Gordon that's a full slot. Who's out if we get Parsons?
