Detroit are really really bad, they're going to struggle on offense all season long.

They should consider bringing Josh Smith or Greg Monroe off the bench but we all know that ain't happening

Went to the game tonight, and I gotta say, while we have some truly atrocious jump shooting, I love the way our young guns play the passing lanes and go for blood when a ball handler is in trouble. There was no slow down at all and the moment a turnover happened it was attack, attack, attack on the fast break.

To be fair, Jennings, Stuckey, and Billups didn't play.

With the way Jennings and Josh Smith chuck up shots and then Smith and Drummond being terrible FT shooter's they don't exactly scream efficiency. They will benefit from Billups, Jennings and Stuckey in terms of creating offense but they're going to have to be really good defensively to make the playoffs in my opinion.

What's a DOMuh?

I think we both know. You know, DOM. YOU KNOW.

This is going to be a fun season to watch the kids play. I think we'll lose tons of heartbreakers in the last few minutes, suffer through a few monstrous blowouts, have a couple totally-out-of-left-field wins, but it'll be an interesting season.

I'd be surprised if they didn't trade Monroe for a wing. I have no idea who they'd trade him for.

Maybe to Toronto? Those guys are paying Landry Fields, Demar Derozan, Rudy Gay and Steve Novak a lot of money and they have Terrence Ross waiting in the wings and I'm pretty sure over half of their roster is open for trading under the new GM.

doubt they trade monroe or drummond, that's their frontcourt going forward.

was upset to see that utah signed favors to an extension. he was the only FA (albeit restricted) that I would've considered next summer. Although he got $12mill/year based on potential alone (I, like the Jazz, feel he will break out being a starter this year).

Assuming that Monroe/Drummond is the Pistons' front court of the future means you believe that Josh Smith is actually a SF and honestly, he's just not.

Speaking of Utah, they're talking about paying more than what Favors got to Gordon Hayward. Insane.

Most sites rank them 6 or 7 in the east. I'm not sure I see anyone better after Miami, Chicago, Indiana, New York, and Brooklyn. Grantland has them 12th best team in the NBA.
