DanA_TBDP 12 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Glen's injury just seemed to start the death spiral. Time to start a bidding war for JJ. Try and dump Afflalo too for picks and shorter contracts.
D12CP3 2 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=athkuxy What about something like this? Magic out- Afflalo, Nelson In- Rondo, Fab Melo Celtics out- Rondo, Melo In- Monta Ellis, Darren Collison Bucks out- Ellis, Dalembert In- Afflalo, Kaman Mavs Out- Collison, Kaman In- Jameer, Dalembert Orlando gets an Allstar PG with a reasonable contract to continue to build around and a young big to develop. Magic also can resign Redick and he would get a ton of open looks in a backcourt with Rondo. Celtics get a go to scorer in ellis and a serviceable PG in Collison. Bucks get a solid/cheaper replacement for ellis(who will most likely walk after this season) and add size the backcourt to pair with Jennings, also a solid big on an expiring deal. Mavs get a good pg in Jameer(Mavs have been desperate for PG help) & a solid big to replace Kaman.
OrlandoFeds 34 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=athkuxy Doesn't seem to help anyone but us in my opinion. Although I really don't rate Ellis so I could see why the Bucks would do it.
LaVar 108 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Glen's injury just seemed to start the death spiral. Time to start a bidding war for JJ. Try and dump Afflalo too for picks and shorter contracts. AA and Glen are not that old. Is it just me, but I think they can be part of our long term plans. I dont think we should try to axe them. They are both solid players. I do think we must decide between redick or AA. But I think AA is the better defender and the player we should keep. His contract is reasonable and he attacks the bucket. We could trade JJ and get some picks. If neslon was a bigger point, JJ could slot next to him, but Nelson is not and we have him for 1 (2 maybe) more years. By Having Nick, AA, and Baby, we can focus on sf and pg prospects. Versus, trying to find a whole new team. Unless we land a good lottery pick (like the thunder's raptor pick), I would keep AA. Pootie Tang 44 Report post Posted January 27, 2013 Trade JJ for an unprotected 2014 pick. Also like the Bradley idea.

Soul Bro 1,422 Report post Posted January 27, 2013 Here we go... http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=auq3dk5 Welcome to Orlando, Rajon! Meer and Redick, we love you and wish you the moon! Here's the question, Orlando fans: would you want to trade for Rondo now that he has a torn ACL? Seriously? If they offered us the above trade ... plus their first rounder this year or next, would you do it? (Obviously we'd dump all but Rondo and Fab). I find it an interesting opportunity. Whether they want to accept it or not, Boston is committed to winning now. They have serious money tied up for the next couple of years (http://www.basketbal...tracts/BOS.html). Adding these three players would at least keep them in the hunt. (I'd rather include AA instead of JJ). For Orlando, it would allow us to stash away a young borderline all-star, let us secure another pick, and help in our tanking effort for the next one to two years. What say you?
