WHAT DOES BEING IN THE ROTATION HAVE TO DO WITH IMPROVEMENTS TO THEIR GAME PLEASE STOP POSTING

As my new BFF just stated.. We were talking about Van Gundy developing young talent.. It doesn't matter where they were drafted and how many years they were already playing.. Young talent is young talent bud... Not to mention just because redick was not playing doesn't mean he was not developing him!!

who says no?

Magic send: Al Harrington, Christian Eyenga, Josh McRoberts

Clippers send: Caron Butler, Eric Bledsoe, TPE (from Aminu)

Due to CBA restrictions, this transaction is broken up into 3 separate deals.

Why for Clippers?

Al is a solid vet that can score at SF/PF and his contract is partially guaranteed ($3.5M) next season. So, it clears $5M off the cap in comparison to Butler's full $8M and gives them a little extra cash to throw at a FA in 2013. Also receives Eyenga who is an athletic SG/SF and they can groom him. McRoberts can help backup the PF position and do some dirty work. His contract is an expiring, so 2013 cap is not affected.

Why for Orlando?

They take on more salary with Butler but the true get in the deal is Bledsoe. A young, athletic PG to groom with the rest of the young roster. Also clears up roster spot.

I think it'd take a whole lot more than that to get Bledsoe from the Clippers.

how much more? They can clear an extra $5M in salary next summer and put that towards a FA to help keep Paul. Also get a young player in Eyenga.

I like it. But the clips aren't getting a starting wing back. We'd probably have to substitute hedo.
