    Playoffs?

9 teams that can get spots more likely than us. Not fight over the 8th.

    Playoffs?

I just feel like there are at least 9-10 other teams that will beat us out of the playoffs.

Yeah, youre right. then there's that. the blackhawks historically have a slightly stronger pull then the solar bears. lol obviously climate has something to do with that though.

well, in orlando there's actually only the ucf knights. whom only got to the fiesta bowl recently. (congrats) the other bigger schools (fsu, uf, the u) are obviously not in orlando. so these people grew up loving these teams. so, moving here you obviously wouldn't get the draw to it. they are all very passionate fan bases and as these schools, at least since the 80's) have been somewhat relevant in the countries most popular sport or at least always in conversation they hold popularity. on the other hand the magic have hit tragedy on more than one occasion in 25 years. couple this with the fact that sometimes the individual is more polarizing than the team (mj, kobe, bron) and fans tend to grasp upon the most attractive. that's not always orlando given that many citizens originate from larger cities. this ended up being longer than I had planned but, hopefully it makes sense.

He might actually aslo be saying it just to tip his hat to the obvious fact that well... I mean he is. Not better guys as in my team was bad but, Dirk is one of the best pfs ever. Like that. Idk, maybe my biases are giving Jameer too much credit.

I don't know what else to tell you. I made a statement saying that they are pretty much a wash in a trade. Klay is the best wing defender on the GSW. Iggy, as much as I love him, can't contain players of CP3's status consistently. They Clippers would still trade for Klay because he's a better defender. Where JJ is better is his offensive diversity. Klay is predominantly one dimensional on the offensive end. I've said all this already. This isn't based off of what other people label him as. I don't see what the problem is or why the stated opinion is foggy.

I realize that but, even to ask that question there must be some kind of inference. are you saying that I am making observations of klay based off of what other people label him as? I ask which persons "rest of offensive game" that you are referring to because I was hoping that you were mistakenly referring to jj and not trying to tell me that there was a rest of klays game.

the rest of who's offensive ability? and how is that my thought process? where are you getting that from?

wasn't me. but I think that's an over priced trade and with crawford on the roster they would do the trade. not because of age. you're right but because they have a need for consistent defense on the wing.

kd>la neither are coming here... leonard isn't leaving... thompson is a poor man's jj redick... ok, last one is a stretch. more like a trade off of thompsons defense for jjs ability to be more than a 1dimensional player.
  12. that trade turned Dwight into a troll and bright the drama train. edit: I don't have a problem with the team in terms of their youth pieces a: I don't like that jameer is gone but that is just me, so whatever b: I don't have a problem with the youth but, I'm not really attached to any particular player right now. if they were all traded tomorrow I wouldn't care. all my favs are gone. my view from a fan standpoint my thinking about the future unfortunately isn't bright because I doubt management. I just don't see how we are going to utilize the cap space. I don't see any big fa's coming here in the next couple of years. also, idk who everybody thinks we are beating out of the playoffs. I dont realistically see us knocking the top 10 off. (assuming everyone is healthy I guess) edit edit: that sentence is confusing. I trust management. just to clarify. I don't agree with everything but I trust. I'm not to spoiled to forget otis.

    Is "really good" good enough?

we aren't doomed for mediocrity. the foundation is just very new and the playoff aspirations and title contention dreams are father than most people think.

sa is the model. sa also has the best pf to play the game. this team could be great. 2-3 years is just unrealistic. continuing to add young potential at different positions will pay off. it's just going to be a while. the east isn't going to be this bad forever and I doubt it will stay so in the window of time it will take for us to compete.
