2012 Offseason

And that's fine lol, not saying Orlando will never consider trading him but he and Rob will meet first and talk. From there Dwight either commits or not and 'then' that's when people could say he's getting traded

I think they will play a game or two on Xbox, share some high fives, eat snack, talk about good looking women, share some thoughts on cheesy B-movies and then Rob will as the biggest question of his week-old GM career... "Dwight... I tried my best to beat you in that game, we have the same taste in big behinds, I cannot lie and we both like straight-to-video movies... will you stay and be my BFF?" and Dwight will shed a tear, pick up his phone and call DWill and say "Yo DWill, this is your ex-BFF D-How... Imma not be coming to BKN bwooooy HOLLA" and they will hug and Dwight will accept Rob's friend request on Facebook.

Apparently his knee is going to require surgery. Just another mark for not drafting him. the guy is a stick figure and already has an injury flag. How is he gonna hold up in an 82 game season in a conference where he has to see and guard Lebron, Josh Smith, Pierce, Melo, Iggy, and Granger all on a nightly basis? All much more physical and bulkier players. Not seeing it.

Wroten or bust. We have no guarantee that Meer is coming back, and that leaves us with only Duhon at PG. Where as Hedo, Q-Rich, and J-Rich are all under contract and although would we like an upgrade to them at SF, hell yes, they are infinitely better at that position then Duhon is at PG.

Arthroscopic knee surgery is not that big of a deal anymore. Yes, it's a knee and knee issues can linger if not end a career, but in this day and age, getting this procedure is nothing major.

What is killing me the most lately are the Kennedy's and Schmitz's of the world writing about Dwight being traded as if it is fact already. What factual statement or event are they basing this on?? As far as I can tell it is only their Crystal Balls...

Last I recall, Dwight waived his ETO, got embarrassed by the SVG calling him out fiasco, and then the back injury which has basically kept him in LA ever since...

Who has come out publically from D12's camp and said the relationship is irreparable?!?! It may very well end up being the case, but I don't get how you can write about it as fact if all it is based on are friggin assumptions?

I think most people are taking Dwight staying out in LA as the tell tale sign that he is done... between that and the amount of time people have to over analyze all of this has their minds playing tricks on them..

I'm staking my flag on the other side of the fence. I think Dwight was embarrassed/pissed by the SVG call out and has decided to lay low from Orlando this offseason while the storm blows over from the purging of the former regime (that he essentially invoked)... Hence why he is not in a rush to get back from LA. More importantly, his back is his top priority and the specialists are out in LA. I remember reading somewhere that his rehab isn't progressing as nicely as everyone expected, so there is actual concern there..

Let's not forget the $40 million dollar haircut that he will have to take under certain circumstances.. For things to be irreparable at this point would seem foolish on his part considering all of the factors at play here.. Health, Money, Reputation, etc.

The Process just needs to run its course, and we will see what happens... Either way I will be excited about what's to come for the Magic with or without Dwight! Until then I wish the talking heads would put a sock in it until they can report on facts.

And no cheap rusty, dented small truck with a stupid sign on it. That must have cost up to $1000 dollars to make and rent the darn crapmobile... I'm talking big ol' shiny MACK's and hot chicks in bikini stuffing Skittles in their mouths...

Dwight Howard (Orlando)

What can the magic do to move me tonight? PLEASE HELP!

John Hollinger (1:04 PM)

Not happening. Any deal with Howard is almost certain to take place after July 1. That's also when cap considerations would make any trade with New Jersey or Houston much more plausible.
