If this is all truly a not-so-clever scheme put together by Dan HWNSNBU and the Nets to try to buy time past the trade deadline so that the Nets wouldn't deplete their roster in a trade, then the Magic should file suit against the Nets for intentionally interfering with the contract and business relationship between the Magic and their employee, Mr. Howard. As part of the lawsuit, I would subpoena all of the phone records, e-mails, faxes, and communications between HWNSNBU, the Nets personnel including Billy King and Prokharov and/or Dwight during the past year and see what was discussed, if anything, about their plan to have Dwight come to NJ. If collusion is shown, Stern would be forced to void the trade and penalize the Nets with fines, loss of draft picks and/or giving those picks to the Magic, and whatever else the NBA would deem appropriate.

 

This whole thing stinks to high heaven and where there's stink there's usually a whole pile of sh*t underneath.
