OrlandoFeds 34 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 I never understood why the fact he trained with Karl Malone too was kept a secret, can anyone explain?
magicfan83 23 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 I personally feel me posting contributes to Dwight becoming the player he is today. This really didn't deserve 3 negative reps. So i'll give it a positive one.
UBBALLER8 248 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 I agree, Stan. Adonal Foyle doesn't get nearly as much credit as he deserves. 1

BRich 56 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 These guys stuck with their "no post game" talking point for so long - and finally felt like it was okay to acknowledge Dwight's improvement after a session with Dream. Stan is on the money.
JeffVanGundysTiredEyes 1 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Whats Pat Ewing supposed to do to get some credit in this league? Make the best Snickers commercial. Or win a ring.

Captain Hi-Top 791 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Funny, but there have been plenty of people on these forums saying that Dwight had no post game, and a lot of people heralding Hakeem as the savior over the summer as well. It's not just the media.
Secretly Space Jesus 670 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Hakeem deserves credit for encouraging Dwight to keep shooting jumpers. He's maintained that shot in his arsenal further into the season than he ever has previously, and he's shooting more of them.
Drain-O 369 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 I think Dwight credits a phone call with Hakeem for his play after Game 3 of the ECF as well. I know a lot of this has come as a result of his own hard work but it is pretty clear that he values Hakeem's opinion and expertise.
Norman 49 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Hakeem deserves credit for encouraging Dwight to keep shooting jumpers. Not sure about this, in the youtube clip I remember Hakeem saying "that's your bread and butter" when he did the hook shot under the basket. And that same hook shot has been Dwight's strongest weapon this season.
