X-Rays so far are negative and MRI will be done soon. Doc and the Celtics are downplaying it but they did the same thing about the last injury too.

Kevin Garnett left Boston's 104-92 loss at Detroit with a right leg injury.

Garnett grimaced as he threw down a dunk late in the first quarter, then immediately started limping when he landed, favoring his right leg. He made it back to midcourt before intentionally committing a foul to stop the game.

He was able to hobble off the court but was limping badly by the time he got back to the locker room. He was taken for X-rays and did not return to the game.

The X-rays were negative for fractures. According to the team, he will wait until Thursday to undergo an MRI back in Boston to check for ligament damage.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers told reporters after Wednesday's game that he's "not that concerned" about Garnett's lower leg injury, describing it as a muscle ailment that will sideline him, but maybe not for as long as might have been expected at first glance.

I hope it's career ending; and shortly afterwards all of celtic's "fans" have their hair and eyebrows fall off.

Just saying.

I try not to wish ill on people, but the guy is a douche. Biggest trash talker in the game, and when it's publicized or people talk trash back to him, tries to act like the victim. Maybe he can rehab his personality along with that knee.

Strained calf my arse, they're covering something up there again.. didn't they say at first his knee injury was a "strained calf" last year, too?
