Would Josh Smith put us over the top?

thought damp already signed somewhere.

I don't like smith as a primary option. I'd rather have crawford (but not at the price of the suggested trade)

Would the Magic get pushed to the next level if the need for a dominant wing playmaker is not addressed?

Btw, Rip is a jump shooter. I think Prince would be nice if he still has it.

I also think Zaza is a great backup, lots of hustle there.

That is a tough one. I like Zaza. Tough player and would be a solid back up center.

Now for Smith. He is more of a knucklehead than a malcontent to me and his talent is off the charts. If our defense in the painted area is great now imagine having Smith and Howard.

The problems would be ball movement and floor spacing as well as what if Smith is indeed a malcontent and Stan cannot corral him and convince him to be the player that he can be.

Overall I can see the Hawks trading him soon especially with the big deals of Horford and Johnson but I doubt they do it within the division.

This one. While I think he'd be a good fit, I could not imagine a situation where Atlanta would help out a division rival like that.

He was going to sign with the rockets but that broke down.

He may sign with the heat though, no problem for Howard because Erica is weak
