He's no Felton Spencer, but he's a legend in Orlando nonetheless.

Look at what Puck did to TMAC.... Maybe the next guy is being brought as a set of bloody hands.

In all seriousness, while some 10 day contract from '97 isn't going to put the negotiations in the Magic's favor, the new GM has serious repercussions for CP3. I'm surprised a bigger deal hasn't been made over this yet on here for the sake of speculation.

For instance, Pritchard would certainly "over-value" what Portland had to offer. He hand picked that roster, and whatever players they had he at some point saw something in them worthy to ink them to a deal. Pritchard goes there, Portland is in the lead if the 20% chance of trading Paul happens.

Same thing with Otis turning Golden State into the Magic's farm league--he and Tward like GS players, have relationships with GS and that gets things done.

More so, GMs are fanbois like the rest of us. They get hung up on certain player's potential, some glimmer of something they saw on tape or some saber metric quantitative analysis stat only they look at, and players follow them.

Man, Dwight could learn a thing or two from this guy when it comes to free throw shooting.
