yes, this is true. now, our tickets are affordable and the view is pretty good in the area since it's small. (although the 3 tier ticket pricing they did last year sucks- I should not be paying $25 for the cheapest seat for a regular season game when buying from the box office). now, the good seats are going way up. the $5 seats they have, I'm sure there will be a lot less of them than the current $10 seats and the view will be a lot worse. I'm sure the $15 & $25 your view will be a lot worse too just b/c how much bigger the new area will be.
