    NFL's 18-Game Regular Season Extention

Unless they cut the preseason, this is horrible and even if they do, it will still make key players have to play more. I love football, but I don't want to players getting more destroyed than they already are. Maybe another solution/consideration would be to increase roster sizes. The staleness in which the NFL treats their players and ex-players is mind-boggling. They could have learned from their issues with medical care to severely injured retirees. My take is that player safety should come first...I have no problem waiting for that Sunday every week if they happen to keep the 16 game schedule. I have to be honest, I am relative newcomer to american football, but is this a genuinely severe issue? I am a huge fan of rugby, played it for a while, and now enjoy watching the pros. I see a lot of similarities between rugby and american football but, since rugby players regularly play between 30-40 games a season, why can't american footballers do the same?

Orl Sentinel-Retire Shaq and Penny's Numbers

I'm definitely in favour of a walk of fame thing with a 'Magic Star' or something with a name & number on it, either outside the new arena or in the main entrance or something, for the guys that have made a significant contribution but there should be set guidelines so that having a number retired is really special

    Nice & Short Bo Mix

Bo was the first player I met and got an autograph from (signed my tshirt) and he was just such a great guy and continues to be a great guy for the orlando area

    NFL's 18-Game Regular Season Extention

The thing I have a problem with is playing regular season games at a random international venues - and this is coming from someone who potentially benefits from such things, being a non-American. It especially bugs me how they arbitrarily award one team 'home' status. I have been to exhibition games where travelling teams are involved and I get that the intensity isn't there, but I think it is incredibly unfair to the real home fans, particularly those who have season tickets, as they really miss out. A perfect example is the 49ers (who are my NFL team of choice) as their season ticket prices stayed the same for the coming season even though one of their 'home' games will be in London, England, AND it is against the Broncos when a home advantage would be a great help.
