Actually, Brandon Roy is the go-to guy.

to bad his career is already half over

Right... except that averaging 66.something games a season isn't bad at all, and that's not including playoffs.

Amare isn't a max player, but he will most likely get the max deal because of the amount of teams willing to spend this off-season.

suns dont like to spend money. Remember, they traded 2 number 1 picks for Kurt Thomas.

who the hell would give him max money? he's a stat padder. dude doesn't play team basketball. he's only on the court for himself. plus his defense is wack.

i'm sure some team will be dumb enough to give him max money but i doubt it will be the suns.

And I'm really not a Boozer fan.

If we hold onto Vince for the year..or maybe trade deadline..his value will increase. Just saying.

Why? Explain why they would take on extended contracts when they need contracts off the books to resign Milsapp next year without going over the cap.

You can't.

What are you talking about? Millsap is not even a free agent next year, they just re-signed him last year. There's no team option, no player option, nothing!

And even if he was a FA, Vince doesn't really help that situation either, lot of people pin him off an expiring contract, he's not. Plus Vince is the anti-Sloan guy. Like someone said earlier, it'll be very weird seeing Sloan coach a guy like Vc. Gortat & Bass are guys Sloan likes to coach, they can be very valuable pieces as they can use a starting C with Okur injuries and age. And someone that can control the paint. And Bass can back-up Milsap. It's no ****in way they will prefer VC over Gortat/Bass.

They can't afford both guys. Utah doesn't go over the cap ever. So taking on all those contracts probably will not happen unless Boozer stays at 12.

They were in luxury tax last year, and already publically said they will do so again this year if it provides a winning team.

I just received a text to pay attention to the Amar'e talks. If he gets the max, he's a Sun and things will likely be tough for the Magic to get a star.

If he doesn't get the max from them.... things get interesting.
