gobucsmagic 13 Report post Posted June 3, 2010 It seems to me that Chris Paul is a player that may be attainable considering how well Collison played in his stead. New Orleans could use a center (Aaron Gray & E. Okafor, yuck!) so we could do something like Gortat, Meer, and players/picks. This way we have our PG and C of the future locked down and re-build the team around those two.

Jareth Cutestory 678 Report post Posted June 3, 2010 quote: The Nets have rejected a trade offer from the Heat that would have sent forward Michael Beasley to New Jersey for guard Keyon Dooling, according to ESPN's Ryen Russillo. Miami doesn't consider Beasley a part of their future anymore and is even looking at lopsided trades in an effort to clear additional cap space. Perfect candidate for our TE. But could Miami be going for 3 hot shots in FA??? Are we looking at a Wade, James and Bosh combo??? No worries, we have Vince and Lewis to take over in crunch time!!! Jareth Cutestory 678 Report post Posted June 3, 2010 Beasley would be SVG's first major headache. He plays absolutely no D.

I know but he has amazing raw talent and can shoot. If SVG can get Turk to play D, he can get anyone to play D.
Magician09 5 Report post Posted June 3, 2010 You can't deny Beasley's talent and he would work very well as a 4 in our system however I think he may just be too much of a headcase for Otis' liking. TheRevTy mentioned that the Hawks are tired of Josh Smith and want to move Horford to the 4. Perhaps he could be an option? Gortat and MP for Josh Smith? Imagine the weakside D!
