Not my favorite, but the honorable mention would have to be Scott Skiles. Early Magic player who was fun to watch (assist-wise), who made the bulls look good again as their coach only to be canned. Now he's making a name for himself with Milwaukee. Good for him.

I've been a fan of his since he got here but he's the one that said how much it was about the team and winning before last season. I know he was sick in the playoffs but he really didn't show up at all. Glad to see he staying positive though.

I got the malware message too and also use Chrome. Chrome has been pi$$ing me off lately. If I see one more "Oops!" i'm gonna can it.

I'm really glad we re-signed JJ. The guy really deserved it. Good show of loyalty Magic. This is good for JJ, good for the team, and great for us fans. It's bad on the RDV pocketbook but if they sell out every game in the new arena next year, they'll be on their way to making it back.

Redick offered 3 years $20m from bulls
Jaybird replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
JJ worked his butt off for a few years and his moment has finally come. He'd be stupid not to take the offer and it's not a question of loyalty. But, in my opinion, it's a matter of Otis' loyalty to a player if he doesn't try to move Carter to allow JJ to start for us. If people think JJ would make Chicago that much better if he started there, then why not here? -

Kid's got a lot of upside, but you need to do more than hit shots and grab some offensive rebounds during a game. When his shots weren't falling his value on the court dropped. He should try to get stronger and work on his passing. Take a page from the JJ Redick book and work on your game for the time being. There's no reason he shouldn't be grooming himself to take Shard's place in a couple of years.

Welcome aboard! Dedicate yourself to this team and being Dwight's backup and lets see what you can do!

With all the other teams courting Bosh, Toronto sends him to Miami for this? I don't think so.

Wade, LeBron, Bosh held a meeting this last weekend?

I just read about ESPN's false report myself. I remember when ESPN was the model for sports reporting and class. Now they're just hacks who use any spin possible to verify rumors. It's reminiscent of some junior news team who'll do anything to get on the radar. Very shameful. -
I'm glad to hear he wants to stay in Orlando and even happier to hear he's willing to come off the bench if needs be. He's strictly running a power play in hopes for a good contract; you can't fault the guy for it and it would really be a shame to have to deal with him being with another contender come playoffs next season. I hope Otis' plan of letting the market dictate his worth ends up benefiting us.

Nobody knows how the post-draft will turn out. Our draft is an A because we picked up two guys that have nice upside AND they could potentially fill some gaps come October. These guys give Otis some breathing room for a line-up change if the right scenario presented itself.
