The Truth is well aware that many of you do not know or realize the significance of The Truth. A brief refresher, The Truth is an OG, The Truth is single handily responsible for getting DS run out of town...For those newbs...DS is Deshawn Stevenson. A wildly popular jet-ski bbq-ing party host, yet uberly overrated basketball player.

 

Anyhow, The Truth would first like to say that Orlando is winning the title this year. Book it. The Truth has spoken.

 

Now, as some of the older members of this board know, The Truth has had interaction with Otis through work. Otis was in the store last weekend and The Truth wanted some info. If any of you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Smith you know he does not like to divulge information. So the exchange went like this...

 

The Truth: So is Orlando gonna win it this year?

Otis: (With a smile and a nod) Hope so.

The Truth: **** straight.

The Truth: I know you may not answer this

honestly because you're a GM but

does it bother you the amount of run

Cleveland gets in the press?

Otis: (Quizzical look) How do you mean?

The Truth: Well I think, and I'm sure you do

that Orlando is the most talented

team in the East, but all you ever

hear through the media is how great

Cleveland is. Lebron is a great

player yeah, but from top to bottom

Orlando is the better team.

Otis: (Nodding) Yeah well, that's how it goes.

It doesn't bother us. (Now as he's

walking out the door) We'll see what they

all say next year when Lebron is playing

in NY.

 

Otis...awesome. The Truth says bring on Charlotte, bring on Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, the Lebrons, David Stern and the refs, LA, Dallas, San Antonio, Denver, it doesn't matter. Orlando is going to the 'ship.
