And people shouldn't spend too much time on them either. They are just opinions (except for Hollingers) and we all have our own. Being on top of the NBA.com or Marc Steins means nothing, since it doesn't win you a championship. It's just for bragging and internet smacktalk.

anybody else find it fishy that nba.com has not updated their power rankings? they are usually VERY diligent about updating it every monday morning between 11am and 1pm. It's now tuesday. and the power rankings stay the same.

I'm guessing it sounds like most fanbases. When it comes to picking a top team, a very select few think you are a genius and the rest are positive you have no idea what you are talking about/have it in for their team.

Its good to finally see the Magic get recognised for playing in one of the toughest divisions.

 

I disagree though with the caption, I think the northwest is more difficult of a division. Our divi is defenitialy next after that though.

I'm not disagreeing with the rankings, but I find it hard to figure out why Cleveland wouldn't be #1 on that list. Their only loss in the last 10 games was AT San Antonio. They are 6 games ahead of everyone in the East, and 4 games ahead of the Lakers, yet they are #2 in the Power Rankings?

 

They have beaten the Magic 2-1 this year, they've demolished the Celtics, and the Hawks, I think, yet they're #2?

 

The Magic are every bit deserving of their spot, but I don't see how they are more deserving than Cleveland.

maybe they're taking into consideration strange back to back situations for once?

 

i don't have a clue, it's probably becuase we beat the nuggets in all honesty, they are a pretty good team, they were missing k mart and ty lawson, we were missing peitrus and vince carter, i'd give it to that.

 

and we always have san antonio's number, well when everyone is healthy.
