We still have the trade exception we got in the Keyon Deal, We have future first round or second round picks, we have the rights to Franny Boy, We have Foyle and his expiring deal, We have Cook and his hopefully expiring deal, we have JJ if you can spare him.

I say we have a lot of pieces to make a trade for a team looking to cut salary.

almost $3 mil from Keyon, 1.5 mil from Foyle, 3.5 from Cook. That's 8 million and you can take back 125%. The question would be is IF ownership would be willing to make a trade and STILL go over the cap this summer for Gortat and Hedo.

SO the question is not if we have the assets, but IF ownership would pay luxury tax. I think that answer is NO until the new arena opens.

The cost of negotiating from a point of weakness. We had the need; we pay the cash.

This is a horrible deal. 4.7 points, 1.5 assits. A d leaguer would have been better and we wouldn't have to give up Bogans. Not that Bogans is great, but he's better then Lue, even riding the bench getting people some gatoraide and a towel.

It look like Bogans isn't happy about being traded.

Who wouldn't?

Don't worry about the cash, it's just the money we got from selling all our picks two drafts ago.

Yay, those trades finally paid off! [insert eyes darting smiley here]

Unless we're the ones who got cash, in which case the sarcasm is moot.

yea, that makes sense to me, in order to even out the salaries, the Magic are giving the bigger expiring deal, they'd want the extra few hundred thousand to make it even...but, whatever...
