I'm used to your posts generally not saying much, but this is a new low for you!

Ah! It would appear that it just took a while to get his post.

It's getting less so after watching Orlando dismantle another opponent while the Lakers continue to scuffle along. The Magic stayed within half a game of the Lakers at 22-6, after Monday's 113-81 blowout of Golden State, and they're coming off consecutive wins over the Lakers and Spurs. Orlando also is tied with three other teams for the league lead with 10 road wins.

The Magic are now within less than 0.1 of the Lakers in the current Power Rankings, and finish only one win behind L.A. in today's Playoff Odds, so certainly they have a case.

Just imagine the lovefest once we dispatch the Hornets.

I know we all want playoff success for this team, first and foremost. And hopefully, playoff success is what this team will receive. But in the meantime, it is extremely gratifying, as a Magic fan, to see the team enjoying such as an impressive run in the regular season.

To think that folks were freaking out when we lost to the Hawks and Grizzlies to start the season.

I think the early loss to the Grizzlies is pretty much the best of the six losses for the Magic, because it was a shock to the system of all the players and now thanks to that, they will not be taking any "easy" NBA opponents lightly from here on out this season.

Or at least until the All Star break.
