that stan is one heck of a coach! can't rotate for sh*t, leaves players out longer than they should, gives green light for threes all season long, then buries them on the bench never to be seen again! This guy needs to go. Sorry, but we will be out coached again in the post season. Stan does not know his personnel and will NOT coach equally. He has favorites and it is disgusting to watch. Can he coach passing? Can you set up passing drills to get these guys in check and show them some discipline when it comes to ball control... They do look like a bunch of high school kids out there, wonder why... Dwight needs to touch the ball every possession down the court and no one should be shooting threes unless they are wide open or getting a dish from the big man... and i mean no fastbreak threes either. This is a joke of an offense. We need to create post up plays and pick and rolls. Maybe set up a mid range shot for JJ or Turk or JRich AND BALL MOVEMENT ! - i can't believe i am typing this lol wow. Living by the three will not win a championship! Get it through your little hard headed skull! It's been 3 seasons of the same. The 3 pointer is a weapon, not a crutch. That means we should use it when needed, not because we have no other choice. I don't know, it seems so simple and elementary, almost common sense like, and the team i love so much cannot get it. Along with good hard defense, having a versatile offense, and keeping the other team guessing (not being so dam predictable) is all i wish this team would try doing. Stan needs to let them have some freedom and be creative. Not standing around the perimeter and turning the ball over!

Are the Magic Championship contenders ???

yes, no question. it is up for grabs this season! BELIEVE!
  3. i sort of agree with this comment... but what would we be if we trade Dwight. He is still only 26 years old and may not know what he wants...
  4. Agreed, but the coach has plenty influence. Jameer WAS Dwight's little buddy.... he wouldn't be ditching him if he still was. After the last couple of seasons, I think they grew apart a little.. where you been?
  5. wow............................. yawwwnwnnnnnnwnwnwnnnnnnnnnn................. you must be a Jameer lover. good work on all that research, but all this knowledge and you forget one thing: Ellis is still more consistent than anyone not name Dwight on our team. Ballhog or chucker, he gets it done. I wouldn't trade for him... but dam you a hater bruh.
  6. only a basketball player that fills the seats of our glorious stadium. only a basketball player that would make the Bobcats a contender and playoff team every season (no matter what coach). i understand the love of Stan, but some of you are giving him WAY TOO MUCH credit. JJ was and is a basketball talent from Duke (w/ coach K), Stan didn't "make" or "develop" him. His work ethic got him playing time... I think he would've done good whoever was coaching him in the NBA. Same with Ryan.... dude was balling in Jersey. You guys are forgetting... people watch the Orlando Magic around the world because of Dwight and our TEAM, not because of the coaches. I like Stan, but I like Dwight better. I agree he is immature and needs to button up, but that is a part of life. Stan needs to embrace his position and understand that his method and style of coaching needs to change if he wants to coach the best BIG MAN in the game. and trade Jameer already. I feel like Stan is the reason we can't let go of the most inconsistent PG in the NBA...
  7. peace stan!!! seriously, he really must be the most overrated coach in the NBA. You heart SVG?!!?? how about hearting the Orlando Magic! He's a good coach, but get over your love affair. The Orlando Magic will still win without Stan and Otis.... how well will we do without the most DOMINANT BIG MAN in the NBA. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Stan SHOULD get fired (especially because Dwight says so), but we don't know what is going on in practice, locker room or behind the scenes. Also, he can take us to the post season with 50 wins, but once there, his adjustments and rotations will be horrible and his stubbornness and ego will bury players on the bench, all this without any discipline and losing another 20 point lead... aren't you guys tired of seeing the same lousy rotations or adjustment every playoffs? oh and the same **** next season.... just the same ole, same ole.... if he is sent packing with Otis, then this may be good for the team. Who knows, maybe Dwight isn't the only one who feels this way.. don't mean to piss any stan lovers off, but I rather my team be happy, than the coach/es

    Stop the corporate smoke screen!

been lurking for years and couldn't agree with op more. i am a die hard magic fan and am tired of the front office making mistake after mistake.. Would you let Dwight go, instead of firing a coach?

    Stop the corporate smoke screen!

we are 25-14 last i checked... 5th best record in the league. Close enough. you have a problem?

    Stop the corporate smoke screen!

the rest of the board must've been fans of Brian Smith then too, huh? Why did we hire him back again? Just sticking to the facts, and that's that. If you guys cannot handle it, than oh well. Stan is an overrated coach and it shows every post season.
