Dwight Howard had previously been warned about time at free throw line

I tried not to... IDK, how can you say that you are good at free throw shooting and not sound cocky about it? Many players are good at FT shooting, how am I the man? And if you were being sarcastic, that's all good...just didn't catch it. Although the rule isn't called often, Dwight takes around 16 seconds to attempt a free shot from the stripe. One could say it is nerves, but I doubt it...he has been there so many times throughout his career. If he does it to piss off the away crowd, that is just immature IMO (I know, I know...gamesmanship). But honestly, I think he could shoot the basketball inside a 10 second span. -

The Batman only got 9 minutes tonight vs the Nuggets. He went 0-1 from the field, with a rebound and a block. Just an update. BTW, if anyone would like an Earl Clark sig with him as Afro Samurai lol, reply if you are interested and it shall be yours. First come first serve obviously. -

My routine: three quick dribbles and then I spin the ball into my hands. It takes like 5 seconds -- it prepares me to shoot and I shoot a high percentage. If I can do it, a pro basketball player can do it. -
Hey Addi, I make sigs every now and then, jw if I can post them here when I make em? Just to consolidate made graphics EDIT: nevermind my man, your thread, your sigs B)

Right. In other news, the Batman got significant minutes yesterday vs. Boston. Spencer Hawes, the starting center played 20 while Batman played 26. Tony's stat line: 26 minutes. 10 PTS. 5-8 FG (.625). 0-1 FT. 6 REB (1 offensive). and count em, 4 BLKS. -

I use After Effects which is basically a video post-editing program which can output to .gif . So it can handle both video and images to output an animated image. It is complicated, but worth learning imo. BUT I'm looking for some simple solutions including freeware so I'll share that with you when I find some quality software.

I was being sarcastic guys, of course Gortat doesn't make them a championship team. Sorry, but damn, maybe I shouldn't joke around after a loss

With Gortat, how could they not be?

Disagree with the points in bold. I think Brown could take the challenge of filling in, but they would not have a playmaker. Do you want Artest on an island chucking shots? BUT I do agree that we are worse off without Howard than the Lakers are without Kobe because of the depth (or lack of) at the center position. The Lakers have someone to fill in and contribute..we have Malik Allen. Also...with the Mavs, they are screwed without Dirk. He's their focal point, and his backup, whose last name I can't spell, averages around like 3 points per. -
First game as a unified squad. There will be better days. However, we need a true backup center.

Losing Gortat and Rashard = :(

Well, he's going to have to change as long as we have SVG. He demands defensive effort and he'll pull him if he's launching away shots that don't fall. We have people that can check in for him and contribute i.e. J Rich, Redick, Q. I think Rashard didn't like being held back offensively. In a recent article, he said that he deferred to Dwight, Jameer, and Vince. He said he was going to change and now he can in DC. He was upset with his situation here, and I think Arenas can accept the role he is given with a better attitude. We'll see what happens down the stretch. -

I know haha, he plays like a PF/SF. I put him in a projected lineup at backup C because of his size. Hopefully we can grab the Batman...Turiaf would be tight as well, he's a solid shot blocker. -

We have his mentor here so hopefully he can get him under control off the court. But I'm saying coachable..not in off-the-court antics but from a standpoint of how you want a player to execute. I'm not 100% sure, but Rashard looked pissed at SVG whenever he talked to him during a game. I think Arenas could take criticism much better. -

I'm starting to like these moves a little more. Aside from the main reasons, I think SVG wanted to get players that would be more coachable. As a coach, you can't really tell players like Rashard and VC how to play, they used to be stars of their team. With Hedo, J Rich, and Arenas, they may bring his gameplan to reality. Arenas has already offered to be the 6th man. Also, we upgraded our SF and SG spots while freeing up our PF situation. We had Bass and RA sitting behind Rashard. We tested Bass in the starting lineup and he produced...RA did as well when he got his chance. We replaced VC with J Rich and Arenas. Hedo replaces Rashard in a SF/PF type role. We also can give playing time to RA, who never really had a reason to be benched. Arenas can play the PG as well, so Duhon (sorry man, I feel ya..but I haven't liked your play thus far) can receive less minutes. We just need a backup center cause Malik is killing me.
