Losing to Chicago and then the New York debacle does not exactly promote optimism since our path to the playoffs is so narrow. I am still very positive long term (love the make up of our young core players) but realistic for this year at the same time. We have very little room for error and we just "errored" on two of our last three games. Not exactly confidence building performances.

I don’t know about “exactly”. I’d much rather be in the place where we beat the Bulls and Knicks.

Yes a 35+ win season would have to be considered a success, although these losses to bottom dwellers over the last week, which are likely to keep us out of the playoff mix, are certainly very disappointing. Lets hope this is all just part of the learning curve and showing us what is right with this team (Isaac) and what isn't (Fournier, Grant) moving forward

Good point. You notice when JI is involved offensively good things happen. He was during the 5 game winning streak. In the 2 games they lost they kind of went away from him in long stretches.

Precisely. And that is what I mean about the Magic being consistently inconsistent. I also think they don't necessarily have what it takes right now mentally to handle the pressure of trying to make the playoffs. When the pressure is on they tend to play hero ball and launch ill advised shots, and simultaneously forget how to play defense in stretches. It is all a process. This is a good building block for them moving forward even if they don't make the playoffs.

Jay if there is one thing all of us should have learned about this basketball team in the last 6 years is that they are consistently inconsistent. You need to be more realistic here. Keep the expectation levels to a minimum. It has still been a great season by recent standards and it will still have been a great season even if they don't make the playoffs.

Exactly. And 6 of our last 8 games are on the road including 4 in a row to start that stretch against Miami, Detroit, Indiana, Toronto. Our final 2 games are at Boston and at Charlotte. In between are 2 home games against the Knicks and Hawks, both playing better basketball recently. Not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Just being realistic here and preparing for the inevitable. Boogie should be playing tomorrow night also. Realistically the Magic have little or no chance. Would it surprise me if the Magic won ? With this team ? NOOO. Lol. It would be just like them to lose to the Bulls and Knicks and beat the Raptors and Warriors.

I've said this before but I definitely mean it this time, I'm done with Fournier. I'd be happy to trade him for anything. Package him with Jeff Turner and we get an A+ for the coming off-season.

Way to answer their run! JI is on a mission right now. Vooch is dropping dimes all over the Garden!

The Magic have absolutely no chance to beat the Warriors. Especially after their epic choke job against the Heat tonight.

TMF the only reason why the Heat won last night is because D-Wade hit that lucky shot. Unfortunately it will come back to bite the Magic because the Warriors are gonna come out hungry wanting this win. To me it would be a victory for the Magic if they can keep the final margin of defeat under 15 points. Klay is gonna be hitting triples in bunches. Steph and KD will have good nights as well. And then you have Boogie...and Draymond..and..well you get the picture. Lol. Magic have no chance to win. None.

Thanks to Wade's extremely lucky shot the Warriors lost to the Heat tonight. With that being said the Magic have no chance to beat Golden State tomorrow night. None. Look for the Warriors to come out with a purpose and put it to bed rather early. It would have been better had the Warriors won tonight. Now the Magic must face their wrath and fury.
