Maybe we can do the same with Brighthouse. I'm not that good at writing things like that but some of you are. I know I would sign it and so would many of us. so will someone volunteer to write it up and send it to Brighthouse. we need to do something as a MAGIC nation to bring this to a end. Mods you can lock it if you think this ain't a good idea... But I know if it happens you would sign it... Hey LOD your our Fan Voice how about you ... your good with words. Secretly Space Jesus 670 Report post Posted September 8, 2008 Part of the problem here is that switching to DirectTV only punishes one of the three parties, when all three should be held accountable. Sure, Brighthouse is punished, as they should be, but Fox and the Magic dance together and bathe in a giant pool of money and fans' tears. The simplest solution would be to watch the games online in a way that doesn't give the Magic advertising money, but that might not be possible. Watch online with advertising, but make an open refusal to go to games or buy merchandise? It would have to be organized, big, and well known, three things that would be very difficult to achieve. Someone needs to write a petition and we as a MAGIC NATION need to sign it. We have a voice in numbers TOGETHER. Enough of this let's go to war. Who's going to write it up ? We need to stand united in our cause it's RIGHT. Who's got the balls to lead us on our mission? It's not about Brighhthouse ...FSN...or the Magic organization... Magical 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2008 I'm sorry but petitions never work. Do you really think that a petition is what had Brian Hill fired? It was more likely the players reaction to him and the fact that the team wasn't really developing under him the way they should have.When a television show is canceled devoted fans always start petitions and it never works. The only thing that would work is if all three companies lost money because it is all a business. If Brighthouse lost thousands of customers to Directv. If there was a backlash to the Magic organization and fans stopped going to games/watching on tv (Sunsports).
