It only matters when it comes to the players your talking. You cant make a simplistic statement like the above and have it apply to everyone.

 

There will be players who fit that statement and make it true while others make it a false positive. We could go all day naming players who fit both sides.

 

That's why they said steals don't necessarily indicate good defense, not if you get steals you are a bad defender. I don't understand why you don't get this.

I would disagree on the Drew assessment. His defense has actually improved and lead to a couple of turnovers which lea to points. The play where he stood in place to take the charge is a prime example.

 

That's about all he's good for defensively. He absolutely refuses to pass out of the post to. The ball goes to him and he just looks around for 5 seconds then proceeds to start his backing down move. Just kills any flow on offense I personally can't stand it but to each their own. Olynik abused all hell out of him too.

Good start to the summer league. Overall, we played well; had some good runs, aggressive on defense and held our own when the matchups werent as favoring. Looking over the rebounds, im surprised that we lead the game off the glass. Watching it seemed like Boston had the better matchup with Kelly and Fab sharing minutes. By the way Fab Melo is a big guy. And Kelly is another Kevin Love type player.

 

Im impressed with Victor and Osby, they both played their game and shined. Our second year players look good as well.
