EnFuego 1 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Yeah, I'm not Stan or the players. I can look ahead. Every game the sixers win helps Orlando in the second round. Go sixers!

Osprey 199 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Even if the Pistons win in 5, its still one more game they have to play, and one more flight, back to Detroit from Philly. All things add up in the playoffs.
Nike 2 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Yeah... and if the 76ers can pull off the (huge) upset, I don't think the Magic will mind too much... GO MAGIC!!!

OneBadMach 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I was biting my lip the last 2minutes, seems like Detroit is the team that can always pull it off at the last second, but not tonight. I'm all for it, even if Philly cant pull off the upset, wear em down a bit!

DLO 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I'm pretty sure Philly split the season series with Detroit. I wouldn't count them out of this series just yet. I know there chances are slim but who knows, I mean GS took out the Mavs last year.
KillingInTheNameOf 63 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I'm not surprised to see Det lose, they are pretty notorious for laying eggs in game 1's. It's the way they lost that surprised me. Up comfortably at half, and then get outplayed in the 2nd. That might be a sign that there's a crack in the foundation??? The 7 game format in the 1st round makes big upsets far less likely, but every game they get pushed is a positive.
