How about a Normal forum and a Stuffy La La Land Forum.

if by "B.S", you mean the inside jokes, lol cats, off topic conversations, etc. i totally agree. -
i thought he wanted to go to miami

1.rashard never had that kind of pressure on him. if anything, dwight and to some extent, hedo did. 2.contract talks have never impeded rashard's focus on basketball. The only thing i can think of that did that was his daughter's health problems. 3.a 10 game suspension, you would think, brings more focus to him and more pressure to perform. but either way, i don't think it'll have an effect on him (good or bad) 4.rashard can handle pressure. why do you think he couldn't handle pressure? 5.rashard very rarely gets compared to ray. 6.rashard has always had determination - with or without any perceived pressure.

Forgive the rant but "Welcome Back Celtics"on NBA.com!

at what point will magic fans stop caring about getting "love" from the media? The best part of the season is always to prove people wrong. It's fun to win - but it's ten times more fun proving others wrong. If we get over hyped at the beginning of the season, there's nowhere to go but down. I'm actually kinda glad that we're not getting talked about as much as we probably "should" because it could make this season as fun as last season. And are some of you guys really comparing preseason wins to try to determine who the better team is? That's one of the most ridiculous things I've seen on this board (apart from the off topic conversations that derail half the threads, of course) -
could we also try to stop all the off topic conversations on the main board? A lot of the posters here have gotten to know each other and end up talking about random things/lolcats. I realize that some people might find this funny, but that type of stuff should be in the off topic board. It'd be nice if every thread past 3 pages didn't get derailed by random conversations.

this topic is really interesting. Kobe started with 17 or so points for the first quarter, then starter hovering around 5 points for each of the remaining quarters. What did we do differently? 1. C lee started playing much better defense on him 2. we started double teaming him before he caught the ball 3. we did more double teams even after he caught the ball I think a combination of all these helped slow him down. But as a result, the other players were able to score. what really scares me with the lakers is gasol and odom's ability to score with ease. We still have no answer to gasol and odom's success baffles me. I was expecting rashard to do a better job on him.

if it's a home game? do they have any big screens for people to watch the game. and if yes, what can you say about the experience? thanks.

Nelson not expected to play tonight...

I doubt he plays unless the game is a blowout. I don't see stan taking a chance on a rusty jameer. -
lol. I second the gortat interview. Make sure you stick around until the end.

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about. game 5 is not a must win and game 6 is not a must win. If it gets to game 7 though, that's a must win. While I do believe that the team can't rely to win the series in games 6 and 7, we are not the team and can afford to look ahead. but I still think we close it out tomorrow.

http://www.nba.com/media/magic/svg052509.mp3 he talks about players guaranteeing things because they don't actually believe it themselves (i.e. mo williams). talks about cav players flopping more than a baby learning to walk. completely trashes the BCS. very interesting (and funny might i add)

has anyone heard stan's interview from monday?
