jack daniel 999 27 Report post Posted March 4, 2008 By Nick Adams | OrlandoMagic.com FOURTH QUARTER Howard finally checks back into the game and makes his presence known by scoring the first three points for the Magic in the final period. Bogans adds a trey to put the Magic ahead 77-72 to open up the fourth. Howard is taking it upon himself to make up for his less than impressive play through the first three quarters as he throws down an alley-opp feed from Brian Cook to put the Magic ahead by eight. Howard has scored six points in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter. It is "Turk Time" as Hedo nails a trey from what seems to be his spot on the left wing. The teams begin to heat up here in the fourth as they trade baskets. Howard has taken over this quarter and throws down another alley-oop to bring the house down and give the Magic a ten point lead at the halfway mark in the fourth. Howard has scored 12 points this quarter on 5-of-5 shooting from the field, and the Magic as a team has shot 7-of-8 to start the final period. The Magic are on fire this quarter as Lewis drills one from downtown giving him 20 points on the evening. Howard continues to dominate this quarter putting back a two-handed tip dunk off of a Turkoglu miss. The Raptors call a timeout with the Magic in command of a 94-87 lead with just under three minutes remaining. Turk scores a jumper, converts a layup, and then feeds Lewis for a easy bucket to put the Magic ahead 100-87 with 1:21 to go. It is so nice to have someone like Turkoglu who you can put the ball in the hands of at the end of the game. What a great fourth quarter for the Magic as Howard, Turk, and Lewis really stepped up to lead them to victory. Final: Orlando Magic 102, Toronto Raptors
