Meh, I know Dwght can't hit an 18 footer like KG, isn't as fundamentally sound as Tim Duncan, doesn't have the moves like Olajuwon nor is he as strong and powerful as Shaq, but for FFS the guy makes a huge impact on the game. Both offensively and defensively to say otherwise is ridiculous. How does this team make so many three's? Dwight Howard How is this team tops in the league in defense? Dwight Howard, and you could probably give some credit to Stan here to actually. I think Dwight get's a lot flak because he's head and shoulders above everyone else at the C position and because of that he's become the de facto torch barer for the center position for the foreseeable future causing him to get "hype" and undeserved criticism in my opinion. I don't know how a coach becomes overrated. That just sounds stupid.

I'm not sure, and I'm too lazy to crunch the numbers but NY has got the Curry expiring and then I read they have that Randolph kid from LSU who might excite the locals who I don't think can be traded right away anyway? I don't know. What has me thinking is. Chris Paul has a mega deal and then they probably want you to take Okafor who has another mega deal so that's a lot of salary that has to go both ways. It seems impossible for a team to just be able to purely trade for Paul with expiring contracts, at least I don't know a team that has that much money in expiring contracts. So you would think to facilitate a trade a player on a medium sized contract with youth and potential the interests the Hornet would have to be included somewhere to at the very least make the money work. Could that be Gortat? I doubt it but some people might think so.

If Matt Barnes wins a ring with the Lakers I think the first thing he would do is pawn it.

Chris Paul could light Kberto's dog on fire and I would still accept him on the Magic with open arms. That might just be me though.

I kind of feel like we should just roll with what we got, let the VC and and Rashard contracts run their course, maybe do a few other things to get under the cap along the way and re-tool through free agency.
