If someone smarter than me could let me know if it's possible to make both the Dallas and Houston deals with our trade exception that would be great. Thanks in advance! Magician09 5 Report post Posted June 1, 2013 I don't have the capacity to check but did you use this current season's salary numbers to determine what team had the space to absorb his contract? If they want to deal before July 1, this season's cap numbers need to be used. If dealt afterwards, next season's numbers are used. I just went off what the Trade Machine has listed as the available cap room for each team. I'm assuming its this season's numbers as teams like Charlotte and Atlanta had no cap space.
