kwizzle29 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 Haha that looked like a smart play by Howard. It seemed like he just threw himself into Yao.
Skywise316 211 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 By the way, that's Carlos' best turnover ever, since it led straight to foul trouble for Yao. Nice to see Rashard put his Sonics jersey back on at halftime. Sitting through this terrible announcing will all be worth it as long as the Magic win and send them crying back to their ranches crying into their cheap beer. jack daniel 999 27 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 Baseline Blog SECOND QUARTER The second quarter starts slow with both teams struggling to find their mark as each team buckets three points making the score 35-28 three minutes into the second. Side note...my best friend Danny who came to the game from Ohio tonight somehow got onto the floor to shoot for a trip to Disney at the end of the first, and he won. Really? Jameer Nelson buckets back-to-back hoops and has 10 points off the bench but the Magic still trail 42-33 halfway through the second. Nelson spreads the wealth feeding Dwight a pretty alley-oop which he flushes to bring the Magic within six at 43-37. Howard throws in a tip-dunk but Shane Battier answers with a hook shot. Turk throws in two from the charity stripe to bring the Magic within six points as we head to the two minute warning in the first half. A Foyle block leads to a transition layup by Turk and Dooling steals a ball on the next defensive possession, goes coast-to-coast and draws a foul. Dooling buckets both free-throws and trims the Rocket lead to 49-47 with 1:18 to go in the half. Hedo finds Foyle with a nice dish and Foyle converts a layup to make the score 51-49 Rockets as the half concludes. Halftime: Houston Rockets 51, Orlando Magic
