When are we gonna get a half decent pf, who can start so we can finally go back to a more traditional lineup. This small ball is crap, and it is showing real fast, teams are really taking advantage of it now that they realize its weaknesses.

Lets face it, Rashard, our PF for the whole season wasn't even playing tonight.

 

But, yeah, still, we need a decent PF. We need someone to help out Dwight downlow. We have 2 players on the bench in Pat Garrity and Brian Cook, who can play the 4 spot and still knock down threes.

Jeez.. I really wish we just kep Ariza. Ariza is better than Evans. And Cook is hardly being utilized at all.

I agree, we really got the sore end of that deal, Cook is garbage and Evans is to small to be utilized here, we should of traded Ariza for another small forward who can shoot and a big who can rebound.

from the looks of what we got, we had it the other way around. A small who only knows how to rebound, and a big who can shoot. yikes.

evans, though he is have a bad shooting stretch, fits much better then ariza and can shot better then ariza to. ariza is a better finsher but evans is a better position defender then ariza. ariza does a lot of gambling and doesnt always move his feet. (his gambling does give him some steals and block at times)

 

Evans is a more natural sg then ariza. imo. evans is at this moment better the ariza, but ariza has the potential to get better.

yes, but do we need another sg? When we basically have JJ and Dooling already waiting to be given minutes?

 

Ariza gives us a versatile player and rebounding as well.

 

What Ariza brings to the court is more consistent that what Evans can bring us, IMO.

We could have kept Darko and still signed Lewis this summer, and we would be better off.

Only because Otis added that extra year to his contract $ that could have been used to sign Darko

? The first year salary of Lewis alone was enough to take Darko away from us. Not to mention, Otis also promised to give Shard MAX.
