SVG doesn't realize that Bogans is the rotation killer

Recommended Posts

His defense is no better than Dooling's.

His offense is no better than Arroyo's.

Therefore:

1.Trade Bogans for a serviceable big.

2. Have the following Depth Chart (minutes in parenthesis:

PG: Nelson (30)/Arroyo (18)

SG: Dooling (20)/Turkoglu (15)/JJ (13)

SF: Lewis (25)/Turkoglu (15)/Ariza (8)

PF: Howard (25)/Lewis (12)/Ariza (11)

C: Foyle (24)/Howard (12)/Serviceable Big (12)

Total PT:

Nelson: 30 minutes

Arroyo: 18 minutes

Dooling: 20 minutes

Turkoglu: 30 minutes

JJ: 13 minutes

Lewis: 37 minutes

Ariza: 19 minutes

Howard: 37 minutes

Foyle:24 minutes

Serviceable Big: 12 minutes

I don't see anybody complaining about minutes here, except for maybe Arroyo, who'd like to get 20 minutes. But with the inevitable injuries and foul trouble to other guards, he could make up those minutes.

Bogans' D may not be better than Dooling and his O may not be better than Arroyo, both of those comments are arguable, but he is better at both aspects combined than those two are. And Bogans plays SG, those two play PG primarily, so he isnt stealing that many minutes from them (maybe from Dooling). Bogans is playing well and if he is as bad as you are claimnig that he is, what team would want to trade a servicable big for him? Im sorry but I dont follow any of your logic.

I agree it is time to move Bogans to the bench. We need to package Carlos or Dooling with Trevor or JJ and maybe throw in Pat for a SG on a team that is looking to rebuild. I see something happing near the trade deadline.

The guy only had 1 bad game?!?!!?

He is a much better shooter then Arroyo is.

His D is as good as Doolings. Ill give you that. I do also agree that he is probably getting to many minutes. However we cant argue with a 2 and 1 record.

But trading Bogans for a Servicable Big Man is laughable. You cant trade a small for a Decent Big. Its not going to happen.

The magic are playing great.

Like LGM said, Bogans is not going to net you a servicable big.

The expiring contracts are the biggest trade chips we have now. Meaning Dooling, Arroyo, and Garrity are the most likely to be moved for a big.

Unless you want to move Hedo, but considering his play as of late. That would be a mistake.

Are you kidding me. Bogans is exactly what we need in our rotation. A spotup shooter that can play defense. I ll tell you who's the 1 killing the rotation, Pat Garrity. Send him to the bench and give Ariza his playing time.

Bogans is doing great right now hiting

his 3s and holding Gibert Arenas to 10 points

or whatever it was, and everyone needs to just

wait and see what Arroyo is going to do

for this team and not just look at the

first three games
