Jay Magic 1,251 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 I'm guessing aloud here -- if trading Afflalo makes it more likely the team keeps Jameer.
Jay Magic 1,251 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 we could REALISTICALLY throw money at the likes of: Lowry Bledsoe Stephenson Isiah Thomas Parsons
LaVar 108 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 It's clear to me that the Magic have cleared the cap space to go after Lebron and Melo. not going to happen but we could take a player for a pick or a young prospect; like lin and thomas in Huston.
Jay Magic 1,251 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 $28.7 million in cap space INCLUDES the salaries of the 4th & 12th picks
magicblue 315 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 It's clear to me that the Magic have cleared the cap space to go after Lebron and Melo. I said the same thing but have largely been ignored. It makes sense, but nobody on this board seems to want to acknowledge it, probably because the only teams mentioned so far have been Chi and Houston. There's no other spot where they could pair up and have a supporting cast of young players like we have here in Orlando. We also have players we could package in a sign and trade and assets in the form of future firsts to make it worth it for NY.

Magicman28 295 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 we could REALISTICALLY throw money at the likes of: Lowry Bledsoe Stephenson Isiah Thomas Parsons I think we throw it at Bledsoe and see if Phoenix matches. If I'm a betting man, we stay at 4 and draft Vonleh if Exum isn't there. With the 12th, wtf knows. If Exum is there, then I have no clue who we throw the money at. Maybe we just keep the salary cap room for 2016.

Stars like experienced guys around them. It makes their job easier. Especially today's stars. I believe we have now shifted our target to 2016 for Durant. Henny tried to move up but Cleveland kept asking for more and finally, Henny went elsewhere. This gives our young roster time to develop experience and maybe Durant takes a look at us in free agency. Jay Magic 1,251 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 Noticed that the nuggets had pick 41. Surely we could of got Fournier and 41 instead of 56....
