Yeah man, that guys was one of my Dad's "peeps." He's definitely in the minority of intellectual opposition, though.
bknbronco 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2007 Thanks for the clarification on the ticket issue, and ill agree that the residents deserve something for themselves. The whole issue of Orlando and where i live in Daytona, is tourists, tourists, and ill agree that we all enjoy the benefits (no state tax, the best roads in the country, etc) I guess my thing is would the season ticket base really leave the Magic for an extra 20 min drive? I mean if you have a product that people want to see and be a part of, would an extra 20 min really screw that up. Thanks for the clarification though, i thank you

Thanks for the clarification though, i thank you I guess it would be impossible to truly gage the effect in season tickets. The idea behind the downtown trio, if you will, is to provide a center for our community. Currently, downtown Orlando is O.K., just that, O.K.. This should put us over the top, and make our city center a good place to not only visit, but live.

ibonedteribell 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2007 Can somebody clarify when will the stadium be finished according to plans if approved? My local experience is that you have to add a couple of years to the estimate date.

davcivic 11 Report post Posted July 26, 2007 I thought they where talking that it would be ready for the 09-10 season, so 3 years. It is possible, if plans are already being done or if the major things are already decided on.
