Don't be so gullible people. If enthusiasm was all that was needed then why last night were there changes in who was on the floor when? and why incidentally were they some of the same changes we have been crying for for months?

 

If the magic turn this around it will because the fans educated the organization and not the fans who "believed" but those who started sites like firebrianhill.org, who wrote to the organization and the media, who made the coaching decisions part of the the news coverage that inevitably led to pressure coming down.

 

Hey Miami man, have you ever even played on an organized basketball team before? If so, what level did you reach?

I value the opinions of those that have been there done that much more than I would someone who has no bball life experiences for obvious reasons.

 

In the coaching realm that I'm in it's easy for others to sit back and crticize. There's no pressure.

 

Our phrase for it is, "have you ever been in the arena". It means have you ever been in the hotseat where there is pressure riding on your every move.

Hold on now JD. Criticizing recognizable flaws that have led to a failure of a season so far is not b*tching. Although I don't agree that the fans have educated the organization, I wouldn't say that critical fans are b*tching either.

 

In my opinion, this organization has finaly reacted to a problem that has been evident all season. Let's just hope that it's not too late.

Their is a big difference between loyalty and blind loyalty. I hope the team and coach felt the Heat from the fans and responded to it.

I didn't let my coach control my work ethic. I made things happen when given the opportunity. I gave him no choice but to put me in the game.

 

Coaching in my opinion is over-rated. It's part of the equation but it's certainly not the end-all.

 

But a coach can tke someone out of the game that isn't giving enough effort.....He can take minutes away from non-productive players and better manage the game.
