Are we again becoming the Orlando Tragic?

The Orlando Tragic

The magic are in serious contention to become a mid-level career franchise. Anyone who think a Lewis/ Howard tandem will ever get to the finals needs some serious mental help. The Magic MUST add another all-star quality player to their arsenal. Look at some of the previous championship caliber teams. It would be OK if they kept Darko and Hill as you could hope Redick, Milicec, or Ariza can turn into the third wheel, but banking on Redick or Ariza seriously lessens the change. Hill could provide just enough fire power to let these other guys mature.

The Magic have dilemmas such as losing Darko Milicec for nothing, losing Grant Hill for nothing, and having no cap space for the next 5 years. You can argue all you want about Hill and Milicec

I dont think you can give anyone credit until this whole process is finished.

It's a good thing McDonalds didnt use your logic before they finished the BigMac.

You should have held off this post until everything Otis does this summer gets finalized.

oh also I'd take Rashard Lewis over Darko anyday of the week

Im tired of hearing that the Howard/Lewis tandom will never compete for a championship. Is everyone forgetting that Howard is 21, has not scratched the surface of his potential? Yes, right now, they cant win it all, but I fully expect Dwight to be able to compete for a champsionship by himself in the next few years. This guy is going to be the BEST big man in the NBA for a long time.

Howard and Lewis will never compete for a championship as courtskill said without another star player. BY the time Dwight is ready to reach his full potential Lewis will be losing his. NO one has ever won the Ring on just scoring and though Rashard is great thats mostly all he brings.

Now if we keep Ariza and JJ and manage to win back Darrko and they develop then sky is the limit but it won't be based on Lewis. Just a fact.

When you spell Milicic right you can weigh in on the topic again.

Rashard is a player who put up 22ppg as a number 2 option, as our number 1 scoring option it will rise to at least 25ppg, that what we need if you look at our games, points

Oh yeah the Magic will never contend but a team in Cleveland with Lebron and basically role players made it to the finals. Yeah this one guy is knowledgeable.
