This team is nowhere near ready for playoff basketball folks. Not even close. Just pack the paint and it's as easy as taking a sirloin steak from an infant. Same thing happened when they played on national tv for the first time. They panic and fold up like an old recliner. They may not reach 80 points tonight. I hate to be the bearer of such realistic news. But are we all really surprised at what is transpiring here tonight? Considering that the Magic were struggling to beat horrible opponents recently. They really could use a veteran presence at point guard who can calm things down and lead a team into their sets. Big mistake not doing anything at the deadline.

Mods please pit a laugh emoji please.  Lol

It looks as if the Knicks want it more to be quite honest. It is more important for them, and they know it.  And Suggs is sitting out with a bruise? Kobe once played with an ankle that was swelled up like a balloon.

Losing is no laughing matter. Remember in Rocky when Rocky's wife said to him "you can't win". It was the one where he was about to fight Mr. T in Russia.

The Knicks shot 63 percent in the first quarter. That won't come close to getting it done on any level. Once it was announced that Brunson was back, and that Suggs would be out it was a done deal folks. You just knew that Brunson was gonna go off for 35 plus in the Knicks win. But hey it is what it is. A 2-1 road trip is still a successful one. And being in the 5 spot and only a half game behind the Knicks for number 4 is still quite impressive. Another big game on Sunday versus the Pacers. Need to play better in that one to quiet all of the doubters here.

3-point shooting was the major difference in the loss tonight. And unfortunately, that will be the same results in the playoffs. Pack the paint and get physical with Franz, while forcing us to shoot from outside. It's an easy recipe for success when you have a poor 3-point shooting team.

This team can get nothing on offense from the guards. It's hard to watch. This is how it's going to be in the playoff, just double Paolo and pack the paint and make the guard beat us.

Yes. Exactly! We need a couple of shooters as well as a veteran type presence at point guard. What would have been ideal would have been to acquire said point guard who is also a three-point threat. Spread the floor and open things up for Paolo and Franz. Without that your assessment is spot on.

Precisely! Need some shooters who can spread the floor and open things up for Paolo and Franz. And to acquire a point guard with some veteran leadership who is also a viable 3-point threat would have been ideal. However, they are seeking to do things their way by going for length and guys who supposedly can play defense. Remember back in 2009 how we played? Inside out with Dwight and our 3-point snipers. Such a successful blueprint on how a playoff team should be folks.
