Here's a good visual representation of how our play compares to the rest of the league (and why we aren't projected to be the worst team in the lottery). Up and right on the axis are better

Ugh... we’re pretty much in basketball purgatory

Yeah.  We're bad but Atlanta, Lakers, Brooklyn bad.  Not Sacramento Chicago phoenix bad which is where we need to be.  And we're also not in the "bad luck, we could be good if a few things bounced our way" area like Charlotte.

Not great

Except... we are that bad. We have a worse record than all those teams except for Atlanta

Wonder if Denver would do Simmons and DJ for Wilson Chandler and something.

Is this to get a pick?

Maybe. It would clear DJs final year and you could maybe rehab Chandler's value and move him next year, or just use him as another big expiring.

If not a pick maybe a Juan Hernangomez or Malik Beasley

Which is why the expectation is for things to even out a little.

- “The Magic are open for business. Jonathan Isaac is considered untouchable, while it would take a significant offer to pry Aaron Gordon loose. Orlando’s new management doesn’t seem interested in bringing back Elfrid Payton and Mario Hezonja has been shopped hard in recent days”

What do you all think about this?

To Washington
-Nikola Vucevic (2 years, $24.5 million)
-2019 Brooklyn 2nd round pick

To Orlando
-Marcin Gortat (2 years, $26.3 million)
-2019 Washington 1st round pick

IMO even at Gortat's age his D is much better than Vuc's

Be nice if there was something to be excited about again. Back when we had talent, I was glued to the games because they were competitive and exciting.

This **** sucks.

I would like to keep DJ to mentor our new PG that we draft and dump EP instead
