Sure, we will struggle through a bunch of games.

 

But, we have no excuse not to have better defense. We should never get out hustled because we have to rely on defense.

 

Memphis is mostly young guys who would be fortunate to see time if Memphis was not desperate for players.

 

Our veterans are responsible for making sure we keep up the effort and intensity. The opponent is nameless in this situation, and we need to do what we do best, lockdown defense. It's just a mentality we must develop.

 

First half we didn't do that , but the 2nd half is more like it. I judge us by intensity and how much we hustle on defense. Until we get real practice time I don't expect the offense to improve. I do think playing some back to back games should help with a rhythm offensively.

 

We need Green to play like this quarter far more.
