@JoshuaBRobbins

Jeff Green will not play for the Magic tonight because he attended the birth of his daughter this morning.

Yaaayyy, more PT for Rudez!

Sigh

Masai is trying to get him for nothing substantial. This is a move you make if you're Toronto. Powell, Poelt, Nogueria, Wright, Van Vleet and even Ross aren't players you cuff yourself to when ibaka is there.

LOL right. Green has been playing majority of the time lately as a back up 3 but now that he's out Vogel will game plan to keep Mario on the bench

What GM isn't trying to get something good for nothing substantial?

And taking Ibaka now is definitely a move that carries some risk for whoever decides to take him. Sure you take Ibaka over those players, but what if Ibaka decides he doesn't want to stay? And how much of a game changer would he be if he ended up being only a rental? That is why teams are going to hesitate to trade much for him. What is the price of that risk?

In financial terms, what is the net present value of Ibaka to another team?

I know but you got to be somewhat a realist too. Dipo is none of those bench players so it's not like we're to trying compensate. If we're talking about Derozan, ok but those bench guys aren't starters nor even close to producing what Dipo did so the whole trying to get equal value to what we lost by obtaining any of those guys is bs.

The thing is Ibaka and Masai have a connection and both have a passion to do humanity work in Africa. Plus Ibaka and Lowry have the same agent. There's an legit chance he resigns. Makes a ton of sense despite the risk. I just think Masai is low balling. Which happens at this time. Ibaka imo would be a good pickup for them.

Part of me thinks Ibaka is better served to stay with us. But make him starting center. He's a good player. We won't get much back for him in a trade, but he can play.

Ibaka

Gordon

Hezonja

Butler

Payton

To get Butler, we trade Vuc/Biyombo/Green.

Orlando Magic Daily on Hezonja:

"@VujaKralj And Hezonja cannot defend anybody and is inconsistent as a shooter. Hard to say what NBA skill Hezonja actually has."
