2016-2017 Season Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

I've thrown in the towel for this season.

Unless we hit a home run in a trade, we are not making the playoffs. There's just too many teams fighting for the spot, and the only thing consistent we've done all year is play bad.

I have to say AG has to be the only untouchable in a trade. Although I still kinda believe in Elfrid Payton.

What we do with Ibaka is the biggest question imo, he is actually a really good basketball player and doesn't mind playing here. But I'm not sure he fits with our timeline. And he will get a big offer this summer.

Also, free Mario! He really needs to play with full reign. Like we did with our players in the Jacque Vaughn years. See what we have with him, we are destroying his value and his talent just rotting on the bench. I'm all for the tank right now.

Ah, the glorious Jacque Vaughn years. Really miss those.

I bet we play the worst when Fournier and Vuc play together.

After that performance I think we will see Mario get a chance the next game.

Just a feeling that I am getting.

Biyombo

Ibaka

Gordon

Meeks

DJ

Vuc

Green

Hezonja

Fournier

Payton

I bet you this works. Fournier the alpha male can perhaps stomp on lesser quality players, and he can play with his man crush Vuc.

I don't know man, it's Vogel that we're talking about.

I think Vogel will play the vets as long as he can. He's in it for the paycheck now, just trying to keep his job.

If management wants to win, he won't risk it by playing the young guys.

Start Vooch again.

Play Biz in the 2nd unit surrounded by 4 shooters. That's what I would do.

Payton.. Evan.. AG.. Serge.. Vooch

DJ.. Meeks.. Mario.. Green.. Biz

Limit green by giving back up PF minutes to AG as much as possible.

That sounds good too!

I've seen Vuc and Payton start for this team for 3 years and I have no reason to believe anything good would come out of it.

At least we would get more losses. I've embraced the tank movement 100%
