tkranole 19 Report post Posted June 24, 2017 why didn't they trade them for anything then? They said last night they didn't want to draft 4 rookies. From the looks of it there was no one they wanted to draft and stash. They just pushed the assets backwards whether we liked it or not.

Soul Bro 1,422 Report post Posted June 24, 2017 Typically when you trade something now for something way off in the future you're provided interest. We got a highly protected first and high second for our late first. I actually think we did decent there. The only wish I had was that the picks were sooner. Soul Bro 1,422 Report post Posted June 24, 2017 they didn't really push the assets back though. they turned them into basically nothing That's not true. In addition to what I mentioned above, we turned our 35 into Brooklyn's second next year, which will be high.

DirtDan2012 201 Report post Posted June 24, 2017 I sure hope Isaac develops into everything the scouts seem to think he can be. I also hope he has Dwight Howard's determination when he came into the league to hit the weight room HARD. It's gonna be fun watching DSJ's young career in Dallas. That kids got some serious skills....
tkranole 19 Report post Posted June 24, 2017 if that OKC pick ever conveys I'll eat my hat Probably has better odds of working out for us than a second round draft pick has of being contributor in the league.
