Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 So it is looking more unlikely that the Lakers will fall out of the top 3, with them passing the Suns for the second worst record. yep. who would have thought that a nash-kobe-artest-pau-dwight team in 2013 would average 21 wins over the next 4 years
Odin 137 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 yep. who would have thought that a nash-kobe-artest-pau-dwight team in 2013 would average 21 wins over the next 4 years Pretty disappointing, since we are likely just getting two second round picks. At least they will be high second rounders.

I wonder if they're tanking. they started 10-10 and have gone 9-34 since. Hard to achieve that without sabotage.

Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 They traded away their best scorer. They're tanking. that's just a smart investment though. they don't need Williams. I'm talking about playing bad lineups in winnable games and stuff like that. it's really hard to have so much talent and win so few games.

I am pretty sure they are tanking in order to give up the least number of assets possible.

rekraprovert 6 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 If we're in the 6-7 range, I wonder if Vuc or Evan would be enough to move up a few spots (and swapping lotto picks). Obviously it depends on the team we'd be negotiating with and what their needs are. But I think we need to do whatever we have to do to get into that top tier.
